Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate receiving, shipping, and import/export operations to ensure workflow efficiency and production deadline compliance. Manage shipping and receiving teams by assigning daily tasks, resolving emergencies, and optimizing resource allocation. Plan and supervise component incoming inspection and kitting activities while maintaining real-time inventory accuracy in the ERP/WMS system. Train team members on safety standards, quality protocols, and best practices. Monitor performance using KPIs to identify deviations and take corrective action. Collaborate with quality, procurement, and engineering departments to resolve non-conformities and operational problems. Ensure full compliance with internal procedures, safety regulations, customs requirements, and export controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a logistics supervisory role
- Working knowledge of import/export, warehousing, kitting and quality inspection processes
- Proficiency in precision measurement tools, quality standards and ERP/WMS systems
- Proven leadership, ability to manage priorities, solve problems and communicate effectively
- Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills and results orientation
- Fluency in French and English
