Plan and coordinate transportation logistics including fleet management, routing, and scheduling of deliveries; monitor transportation costs, negotiate contracts with carriers, and manage vendor relationships; track shipment progress and resolve issues during transportation; ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards; analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in transport logistics
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics operations
