Job Summary
Oversee project lifecycle execution from initial quotation to final billing, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Design and estimate cost-effective solutions for crane mat sales and support, focusing on materials and transportation logistics. Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to optimize project outcomes while developing schedules and managing procurement and quality control. Perform detailed cost analysis and coordinate large construction projects, monitoring contractor work and adhering to safety protocols. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, five years of experience in estimating or project management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and B2W software. This role supports United Rentals' North American right-of-way access solutions division.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years' experience in Estimating/Project Management
- Ability to prioritize, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong understanding of all Project Management and Lean construction methodologies and principles
- Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and safety hazards of construction projects
- Ability to coordinate large construction projects and monitor the work of contractors
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Project and B2W software
