Job Summary
Logistics Specialist (Material Handler/Delivery Driver) in Jacksonville, FL responsible for loading/unloading tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery, staging at the customer’s business location; represents TireHub professionally, adheres to safety standards, and delivers exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include general warehousing, delivery services, vehicle maintenance, cycle counts, inventory control procedures, COD collection, ensuring vehicles and equipment are in good condition, completing driver/vehicle logs, and participating in ongoing training. Requires strong communication and safety-conscious operations with experience operating forklifts/pallet jacks and using GPS/Manifest systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license
- Must be 19 years old or older
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles
- Work up to 35 feet above ground-level
- Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift
- Follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Manifest, GPS and Navigation systems
- Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
- Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license
