Job Summary
Schedule all outbound LTL and TL shipments in conjunction with customers' needs and operational requirements. Act as a liaison between vendors, purchasing, and transportation partners to coordinate inbound freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage importation of products and materials by working with 3PLs and Supply Chain Solutions providers to meet service level expectations. Coordinate import and export tasks in compliance with US Customs laws, maintain relationships with carriers like FedEx and UPS, and submit claims for damage or loss. Provide necessary information to the accounting department to ensure accurate vendor payments. This role supports Kinter's 40-year history of manufacturing and distributing retail display hardware, fostering a family-oriented approach to business and operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds
- Ability to make repetitive movements, including moving of the wrists and/or fingers, bending, or squatting
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior customer service and/or logistics experience is preferred
- Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or light manufacturing environment is a plus
