Logistics Specialist III (Hybrid) (Transportation Management)

Own and optimize the end-to-end order lifecycle from load building to tendering using an advanced Transportation Management System (TMS). Establish carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and select cost-effective transport modes to ensure timely, budget-conscious deliveries. Act as a data-driven problem-solver to identify performance trends, resolve shipment errors, and prevent service failures. Train new users on systems and document SOPs to set the gold standard for operational excellence. Serve as the key liaison between shippers, receivers, and carriers to resolve complex logistics challenges with professionalism. Requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of logistics/transportation experience; hybrid work schedule with on-site in Newport, RI three days a week and remote on other days.
