Job Summary
Logistics Specialist II – Trade Compliance responsible for end-to-end documentation accuracy and compliance of import/export activities. Oversees customs and trade compliance, supervises documentation processes, coordinates with IORs, customs brokers, carriers, and other partners, and supports audits and regulatory inquiries. Leads regional implementation of trade compliance processes, develops guidelines for tariff classification, country of origin, and export controls, and identifies opportunities for duty mitigation and use of preferential trade programs. Requires broad knowledge of customs regulations, strong data accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, logistics, import/export operations, or related function
- Experience reviewing or creating shipping documentation
- Extensive knowledge of customs regulations, import/export requirements, and global trade processes
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, or couriers
- Strong attention to detail and data validation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP or trade management systems
- Ability to interpret and apply trade regulations and internal compliance policies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English
