Job Summary
The Logistics Specialist (LS) supports 24/7 operations performing logistical support and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include coordinating the safe transport of minors and families, managing daily operations for inventory and transportation, conducting vehicle safety checks, and maintaining constant communication with transport teams. Required skills include basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, have a valid driver’s license, and meet various security clearance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or a high school diploma with two or more years of relevant experience
- Two years of documented experience in a field related to security, law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar
- Two years’ experience in business, logistics, transportation, supply chain or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Ability to pass a Government Security Background Investigation, including a favorable credit check
- Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
- Valid and current driver’s license with safe driving record
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain Security Clearance
- Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
- Successfully pass a background investigation, drug screen
