Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

Monitor carrier performance and customer account results daily, preparing weekly reports and KPI analysis for the organization. Manage the Transportation Management System as a global administrator, troubleshooting IDoc integration errors between SAP and the TMS while executing end-to-end system testing. Lead logistics projects to identify process improvements, developing business requirements documentation and collaborating with IT teams to implement enhancements. Generate accurate freight quotes to support sales pricing and monitor freight profitability across top accounts. Serve as a subject matter expert in the order-to-cash process, ensuring compliance with SOPs and driving data-driven recommendations for business case improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Background in Supply Chain functions: Distribution/Logistics, Warehousing, Planning, Customer Service
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Degree in Management (Operations/Supply chain) or Engineering preferred
  • Excellent analytical competency with strong quantitative analysis skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent) and database (MS Access or equivalent)
  • Technically inclined to rapidly learn new functionalities of complex information systems
  • Capable of data mining / data gathering to model complex business situations
  • Must be capable to relate data analysis to sound business recommendations and support business case for improvements
  • Attention to details and manage competing priorities
  • Must be a team player with strong work ethics
  • Working knowledge of SAP Supply Chain functionalities
  • Experience working with Transportation Management Systems and Real-time tracking solutions (e2open / Shippeo)
  • Experience working in Logistics/Distribution fields and fundamental knowledge on the industry
  • Experience with reporting/analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP, Analytics Cloud
  • Experience in operations research and/or simulation
  • Working knowledge of AI tools that support the Supply Chain function

Desired Qualifications
