Job Summary
Logistics Specialist responsible for managing on-site logistics activities in Horn Lake, MS to meet fulfillment requirements and reduce transportation costs. Manages outbound domestic and international shipments, communicates shipment information, and provides logistics support to clients. Responsibilities include researching optimal transportation modes, routings, and frequency; ensuring compliance with export/import regulations; handling domestic and international small parcel execution; verifying ship-to and serial numbers; ensuring shipments depart on time; managing DOT and Hazmat compliance; creating/drafting hazmat and dangerous goods documentation; advising on restrictions/regulations; maintaining IATA/DOT compliance; managing online tracking/metrics; minimizing risk; handling freight claims; and training new employees/clients when needed. Ideal candidates will have warehouse or shipping experience, TMS experience preferred, and strong Excel and communication skills with data analysis to improve warehouse processes. The role emphasizes on-site work with 40-hour weeks, salary-based compensation, and a diverse client base across industries.
