Logistics Shift Leader - 2nd (2PM to 10PM)

Job Summary
Direct and coordinate shift personnel to support coating, converting, maintenance, or other departments, acting as the primary contact for production shift leads. Provide leadership to identify opportunities for supply chain improvement and customer satisfaction while assuring material flow compliance with traceability systems. Perform warehouse and inventory functions in SAP, stage shipments, oversee truck loading/unloading, and maintain visual boards and inspection paperwork. Schedule location audits to ensure adequate put-away space and monitor end-of-shift checklists for safety and 6S expectations. Ensure timekeeping accuracy for direct reports and address all safety issues related to the department.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- experience leading teams or coordinating shift operations
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate computer skills
- OSHA Safety Training (OSHA 30-Hour)
- Forklift Certification (OSHA-compliant) or ability to obtain
