Logistics Settlement & Invoice Control Specialist

Job Summary
Execute logistics cost settlement and invoicing by verifying LSP invoices and processing them within the Cello platform. Act as the primary contact for Finance and controlling to address inquiries regarding AP/AR status and accruals, while taking corrective actions against carriers for incorrect or unclear invoicing. Manage import customs declarations and bonded transfers, coordinating closely with customs offices, clients, and carriers to resolve logistical bottlenecks. Prepare month-end reporting and translate operational issues into workable solutions. Assist other disciplines within the SSEG team and maintain strong relationships with transport LSPs and warehouse operations. Requires German and English proficiency, with a background in logistics or business administration.
Required Qualifications
- Logistics education
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in customs area and /or Logistics invoice settlement
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Assertive personality
- Customer orientated
- Curious, eager to learn and pro-active attitude
- Constructive problem-solving skills
- Proficient level of German in speaking and writing
- Business English in speaking and writing
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player, built and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved
Desired Qualifications
- preferably degree in Business Administration or Economics with major Logistics or SCM
