Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Chefgood Loftus Road facility, managing logistics, production support, order picking, and dispatch workflows to ensure efficient delivery of fresh meal products. Lead a team of approximately 10 employees per shift, handling rostering, performance reviews, and workforce planning while driving safety, quality, and productivity outcomes. Monitor cold chain processes, inventory accuracy, and operational costs within Microsoft Dynamics 365, preparing shift reports and KPI data for senior leadership. Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and workplace health standards through regular audits and risk management. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement continuous improvement initiatives and optimize production methods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, production operations, or a similar operational environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams within a fast-paced logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management, dispatch operations, workforce planning, and operational KPI monitoring
- Ability to analyse operational data, interpret performance reports, and make informed decisions to improve productivity and efficiency
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across different business functions
- Current Forklift Licence is desirable
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in temperature-controlled warehousing, cold chain operations, or fresh food environments is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
