Job Summary
Manage inventory tracking and shipping with third-party vendors to maximize efficiency in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop, facilitate, and document processes to improve asset transfers between sites while maintaining effective relationships with transportation carriers and warehouses. Forecast equipment needs based on business plans and proactively resolve unique site requirements to mitigate risks. Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiencies to support decision-making. This role integrates with Strategic Procurement Project Managers to ensure material needs are met across QTS locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Problem solving skills
