Job Summary
Logistics Planner at DHL Supply Chain responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight to maximize service and cost performance. Responsibilities include building and validating daily load plans using EFMS, Topex, or TMS systems; expediting requests and honoring carrier selections; distributing daily load tenders; coordinating appointment acquisition to meet delivery requirements; continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders (carriers, clients, support, operations) to ensure alignment; managing carrier pickup times and providing daily shipment plans to the distribution center; identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance financial performance and service levels; addressing compliance issues and contributing to metrics feedback; supervising yard and shuttle service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of logistics industry experience
