Job Summary
Logistics Planner III responsible for tariff-related data management and reporting. Responsibilities include preparing monthly tariff impact reports for multiple entities, conducting monthly tariff impact P&L analysis, organizing data by customer/broker/origin/HTS code/country of origin/import value/duty rate/duty amount, reviewing broker-provided data and related documentation, tracking Section 232 credit applications, monitoring refunds and tariff mitigation, supporting weekly and annual progress tracking, maintaining organized tracking files, and communicating with brokers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information. Also supports tariff-related reporting and data analysis for Sales and Business Units, with an emphasis on adherence to standard work instructions and deadlines and contributing to special projects for the CCD Tariff Team and CCD General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, accounting, finance, international trade, or related field preferred
- Experience in logistics, customs compliance, import operations, data reporting, customer support, or administrative planning preferred
- Basic knowledge of U.S. import processes, broker activity, CBP Form 7501, HTS codes, country of origin, import value, and duty calculation preferred
- Strong Excel skills required, including data sorting, filtering, lookup formulas, pivot tables, and report preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collect, validate, reconcile, and summarize data from multiple sources
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions and meet recurring daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
- Good communication, follow-up, and documentation skills
- 8.5-7 years progressive professional business accounting/finance experience
