Logistics Order Picker II - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Operate powered industrial trucks and use RF technology to pick orders accurately and timely, stacking boxes to an 84-inch height and labeling pallets with movable units. Apply customer carton labels as needed, solve picking issues immediately, and report repetitive errors or safety violations to supervisors. Maintain a clean work environment in racks and aisles while working between LTL and Ship Line areas. Complete one day Train the Trainer class and adhere to all safety guidelines. Work 8- or 10-hour days plus overtime with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Maintain 99.92% pick accuracy and 95% efficiency rating.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Train the Trainer certification or equivalent within three months of assignment
- Be goal oriented and able to work well under pressure
- Demonstrate good judgement and must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative
- Goal oriented, able to work under pressure, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Be certified in all pick types, and be proficient in shipping instructions for all pick types
- Possess basic math and keyboard skills
- Attention to detail to adhere to 99.92% pick accuracy and maintain 95% efficiency rating

- Must be certified in both LTL and Ship Line picking and packing
- Must be able to process international orders
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be available for 8- or 10-hour day plus overtime as required
- Must be able to work between LTL and Ship Line order picking
- Must be able to operate a powered pallet jack, or similar
- Must be able to use a radio frequency (RF) device
- Must be able to pick orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Must be willing to accept change and be proactive rather than reactive
- Must be able to maintain and operate a safe work environment
- Must be able to solve problems by picking issues as they are found
- Must be able to identify to the Supervisor or Team Lead if errors are repetitive
- Must be able to maintain a clean work environment when working in the rack, aisle, and PIT locations
- Must be able to notify immediately the Supervisor of any safety issues
- Must be able to follow all safety guidelines and report safety violations promptly and immediately
