Job Summary
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and stretch wrap machines while maintaining accurate product records and managing inventory cycle-counts. Prepare shipping orders, check in drivers, and stock production lines with materials in coolers and freezers. Ensure compliance with quality policies, safety procedures, and government regulations by reporting discrepancies and conducting daily equipment checks. Maintain clean warehouse areas and label incoming materials according to established protocols. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperatures ranging from 38°F to -10°F.
Required Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a shipping environment with temperatures ranging from 38°F to -10°F
- Ability to lift, carry, stack, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the workday
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, twisting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to safely work at elevated heights and utilize stairs, ladders, platforms, and personnel lifts as required
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and safely perform essential job functions in a fast-paced production and distribution environment
- Flexibility to work off-shifts, including days or nights, weekends, or holidays
