Job Summary

Coordinate Production and QC inventory replenishment, process material requests, and manage warehouse stock retrieval to ensure operational continuity. Restock laboratory consumables, control disposable inventory levels, and maintain documentation for incoming goods while coordinating material movement between site locations. Support monthly cleaning activities, escort vendors, and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate timely deliveries across Production, Quality Control, and Facilities. Manage inventory accuracy through effective stock management processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the scientific and manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work effectively to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of inventory management processes and operational workflows
  • Awareness of how internal and external teams contribute to wider business objectives
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience using inventory management, warehouse, or business systems
  • Proficiency in data capture, analysis, and reporting using standard IT tools, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of stock management principles and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities

  • Compliance with all site safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience within a logistics, warehouse, supply chain, or operational environment
  • Experience handling dangerous goods and/or cryogenic materials
  • Familiarity with ADR regulations for the transport and handling of dangerous goods
  • Experience supporting scientific, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research organisations
