Job Summary
Manage daily outbound deliveries by coordinating with the warehouse team and communicating with freight haulers to ensure timely pickups, efficient routing, and compliance with temperature and quality requirements. Utilize logistics software to track shipments, maintain accurate records and documentation, and prepare detailed reports on logistical KPIs. Identify operational issues, develop solutions to minimize disruptions, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Serve as a liaison for customer inquiries and complaints while acting as the primary point of contact during the department manager's absences.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in logistics or supply chain roles
- associate degree in supply chain management
- Logistics, or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Knowledge of transportation regulations
- Proven track record and ability to deliver transportation cost savings concepts
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication – clear, complete, professional and accurate communication in written and oral forms to internal and external partners
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Critical and strategic thinking
- Decision making with purpose
- Proficiency in advanced TMS/WMS systems and data visualization tools
Desired Qualifications
- Logistics Certifications preferred
- SAP Experience preferred
- Proficient in the use and knowledge of E2Open and Conduit a plus
