Job Summary
Track shipments, coordinate transportation, and resolve discrepancies to ensure efficient goods movement. Monitor exception reports, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions to minimize delivery disruptions. Collaborate with customs brokers to clear import/export issues and verify vendor invoices for accuracy. Maintain logistics records, process regulatory documentation, and identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency. This W2 contract role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of logistics experience, with hours Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm PST. Compensation is $25-$30 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, or import/export compliance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and Pivot Tables
- Knowledge of import/export processes and customs clearance procedures
- Experience supporting product classification and compliance activities
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or ERP systems
- Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements
