Logistics Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Plan and coordinate import, export, and overseas drop shipments (ODS) to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery across multiple regions. Manage daily email communications for delivery arrangements, shipment follow-ups, and inquiries from SG and regional sales/admin teams. Provide quotations based on Incoterms, prepare and share collection notes, and support freight cost validation against quotations for posting. Oversee RFQ processes by obtaining and comparing at least three quotations before appointing forwarders. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and internal policies, coordinate permit applications (CCP via TradeNet) through third-party vendors as required, perform SAP transactions (e.g., update received dates, upload POD), and raise SPO for monthly freight payments. Troubleshoot logistics operational issues and liaise with internal teams (sales, service, warehouse) and external partners (suppliers, forwarders) to ensure smooth execution.
Required Qualifications
- Experience coordinating import/export shipments and logistics operations
- Ability to handle RFQ process and obtain/compare at least 3 quotations
- Familiarity with Incoterms and export/import regulations
- Experience performing SAP transactions (e.g., update customer received date, upload POD)
- Experience with freight cost validation and processing (PO/GL)
- Ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth logistics execution
- Knowledge of TradeNet CCP permit applications or coordination with 3rd party vendors
- Experience in raising SPO for freight payments
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience with handling shipments, courier arrangements, and approvals for international shipments
