Job Summary
Logistics Operations Manager responsible for end-to-end logistics for inbound, interplant, and outbound materials, equipment, and finished goods, including capital warehouse operations in bonded and LMW environments. Drive performance against logistics KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, support site startup/ramp/steady-state operations, and partner with cross-functional teams and external providers to optimize cost, speed, quality, and reliability. Utilize analytical tools to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement, monitor shipping and execution exceptions, and report updates on schedule, scope, cost, risk, and execution readiness to senior leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations or 3PL management
- Experience with high volume or ramp environments
- Good knowledge of Malaysia customs regulations and experience working with local customs and brokers
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, bonded/LMW compliance, and supplier governance
- Proficiency in SAP/WMS systems, inventory control, and performance metric tracking
- Ability to self identify issues and drive corrective actions
- Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management
