Job Summary

Manage daily logistics operations by receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming samples while completing required documentation and security assessments. Prepare, package, label, and dispatch shipments in accordance with IATA, ADR, IMDG, GMP, GLP, and SHE standards, ensuring all materials are handled safely. Coordinate workloads to meet service level agreements, maintain accurate shipment records, and monitor inventory levels. Investigate complex issues, support audits and regulatory inspections, and liaise with customers, suppliers, and partners to resolve delivery challenges. Track performance metrics and assist in training new team members to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Previous experience in sample logistics, laboratory operations, or supply chain environments
  • Hands-on experience handling regulated or hazardous materials
  • Experience working in GMP/GLP-regulated environments
  • Familiarity with global shipping, import/export documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory compliance activities
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience
  • Working knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations (IATA, ADR, IMDG) and Known Consignor requirements
  • Understanding of GMP/GLP standards and regulated laboratory or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with materials management, warehousing, and distribution processes
  • Basic understanding of Lean or Six Sigma principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and processes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using logistics, inventory, or data management systems
  • Strong data entry, analysis, and reporting capabilities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners in a matrix environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and evolving regulatory requirements
