Job Summary

Manage production schedules, raw-material availability, and finished-goods warehousing while coordinating shipments across multiple plants and responding to emergency material requirements. Analyze capacity requirements to improve schedule accuracy and on-time delivery, monitoring logistics KPIs to enhance material flow and operating costs. Lead and develop planners, schedulers, and cross-functional teams, partnering with production, purchasing, and customer service to optimize inventory management and freight costs. Forecast demand and manage expedites within a manufacturing environment, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines. Requires 5+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain, an ERP/MRP background, and a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management experience in production planning, logistics, supply chain, inventory control, or a related manufacturing function
  • Experience managing production schedules, raw-material availability, finished-goods warehousing, freight, and customer delivery requirements
  • Strong ERP/MRP background
  • Proven ability to analyze capacity requirements and improve schedule accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Experience leading and developing planners, schedulers, logistics managers, and cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, freight costs, expedites, and inventory-management systems
  • Ability to monitor logistics KPIs and use data to improve material flow, delivery performance, and operating costs
  • Comfortable coordinating shipments across multiple plants and responding to emergency material requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Hands-on manufacturing mindset with experience partnering across production, shipping, purchasing, customer service, and operations
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent education and experience considered
