Job Summary
Logistics Manager to serve as a key link between company leadership, dispatchers, drivers (carriers), and customers. Role blends sales, operations, and supply chain planning with focus on matching freight with the right carrier at the right time and price; lead logistics operations, support brokerage activities, and drive revenue growth and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day logistics operations, leading brokerage, negotiating rates with carriers, coordinating shipment execution and load confirmations, monitoring shipment progress, recommending process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability, providing pricing insights, creating and managing project plans and budgets, ensuring carrier screening and policy compliance, leading and developing logistics team members, and collaborating across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management (brokerage/dispatch experience preferred)
- Sales experience and strong negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
