Logistics Manager

Job Summary
Lead all logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities for a food manufacturing operation. Ensure timely receipt of raw materials and packaging, and the shipment of finished goods to customers and third-party warehouses. Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight costs, and warehouse efficiency; develop strategies to optimize routes and warehouse utilization. Manage relationships with carriers, freight brokers, and 3PLs, negotiate rates, and control costs. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and company policies; support traceability and recall readiness. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production to ensure proper handling of food products; identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead the logistics and warehouse team. Travel regularly between all company facilities to oversee operations and drive service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or distribution management experience.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and transportation management systems.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP principles, food safety requirements, and inventory control practices.
- Experience managing logistics or warehouse personnel.
