Job Summary
Oversee the Warehouse, Freight, and Stocking Teams to manage daytime receiving, yard operations, truck staging, and planogram compliance. Direct team activities including backstock management, pick-pack-ship workflows, and vendor return programs. Collaborate with human resources to recruit qualified Team Leads and members, while coaching staff to ensure consistent execution and goal achievement. Maintain positive promotion of customer loyalty initiatives and credit card programs. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, three years in Big Box retail management, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role supports Fleet Farm's West Des Moines store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent relevant experience
- 3 years of management experience with a Big Box retailer preferred
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full- time and part-time team members
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively with implementing solutions, planning and delegating tasks, monitoring and achieving goals, and responding to change
- The ability to work a flexible schedule and have open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
