Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and execute the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to project sites while developing logistics strategies aligned with schedules. Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving processes to ensure accurate tracking and staging. Manage tool crib operations, equipment logistics, and rentals to maintain accountability and cost efficiency. Serve as the primary contact for vendors, coordinate material orders and discrepancies, and collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety policies for material handling, transportation, and storage. Maintain documentation, track KPIs on delivery timelines and inventory accuracy, and implement process improvements for operational effectiveness. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of logistics experience; valid driver's license and ability to commute to field locations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or construction operations
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/inventory systems
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to commute to field locations
- Must have the ability to navigate around job site locations
- Must be able to work outdoors
- Must be able to be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
- Must be able to be exposed to moving mechanical and electrical parts
- Must be able to be exposed to high, precarious places
- Must be able to be exposed to dust, fumes or airborne particles
- Must be able to be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals
- Must be able to be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Must be able to be exposed to cold and heat
