Job Summary
Manage production planning, warehousing, and shipping/receiving while owning forecast ingestion, order orchestration, and supply chain integration. Lead MPS/MRP, finite capacity balancing, and S&OP governance to ensure plan adherence and schedule stability. Govern WMS setup, cycle counts, dock-to-stock processes, and warehouse layout standards to maintain inventory accuracy. Own TMS execution, carrier performance, and cost-to-serve optimization for export/import workflows. Manage closed-loop returnable packaging, logistics compliance, and safety audits. Administer logistics systems, troubleshoot label processes, and lead team training and performance management. Track OTIF, capacity utilization, and freight costs against budget.
Required Qualifications
- Min 2 year Degree (Associates) in related field
- 3 to 5 years of general logistics experience (production planning)
- Knowledge in using specific Logistics systems
- It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA)
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and very occasionally to climb or balance
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift
Desired Qualifications
- 4 year degree (Bachelor Degree) preferred
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Excellent numerical skills
- Min 2 year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, 4 year degree (Bachelor Degree) preferred
- 3 to 5 years of general logistics experience (production planning) preferred
