Job Summary
Plan, manage, and coordinate life cycle logistics support for strategic sustainment acquisition activities. Develop, publish, and update supply chain strategies and implementation plans covering contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition life cycle. Analyze past, current, and future performance and spend data to select optimal sourcing strategies for the portfolio. Prepare presentations, papers, and correspondence to support logistics execution. Lead team members and stakeholders in sourcing strategy implementation and continuous process improvements. This role supports the 638th Supply Chain Management Group at Robins AFB, GA, requiring an active Secret clearance and on-site presence five days per week.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Active Secret clearance
- Eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC) and installation access at Robins AFB
- Exceptional understanding of Air Force weapon systems logistics
- Development and implementation of sourcing strategies and enterprise supply plans
- Strategic sustainment acquisition planning across the contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition life cycle
- Analysis of performance and spend data to shape portfolio-level sourcing decisions
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- At least eight (8) years of experience in Air Force supply chain management performing tasks associated with the logistics management functional area
- Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer
- Sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform related tasks
- Willingness to relocate to Robins AFB, GA
- On-site availability five days per week (40 hours per week)
- Duty hours including core hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern
- Some travel subject to advance Government approval
- Ability to visit operational, production, and warehouse facilities
- Ability to encounter extreme temperatures, airborne particles, fumes, chemicals, or loud noises
