Job Summary
Process freight documents, maintain auditable files, and create export documentation including invoices and packing lists for domestic and international shipments. Coordinate warehouse operations by scheduling staff, enforcing policies, and managing inventory levels while ensuring compliance with IATA, IMDG, and DOT regulations. Act as a liaison between Sales, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to facilitate transportation bookings and resolve shipment issues promptly. Train new hires and commit to warehouse KPIs while adhering to ISO standards and company safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience with international shipping and customs
- Experience with warehousing and storekeeping in a busy warehouse environment
- Experience of working with quality-controlled systems, including good health and safety practices
- Experience of working with ERP systems
- Ability to work with tight and ever-changing production deadlines
- Ability to integrate, communicate, contribute and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to interpret and follow an assorted number of technical/production tasks or instructions
- Willingness to learn
- Commitment to produce quality products by following the quality system
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping and stretching
- Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds
- Requires exposure to machines and chemicals
- Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision (with or without correction)
