Logistics Lead – ZPF Operations

Job Summary
Coordinate transportation operations across CheckSammy's ZPF network by scheduling inbound and outbound freight, performing daily track-and-trace, and resolving service failures with customers, vendors, and carriers. Maintain accurate records in WMS/TMS systems, generate reports on logistics KPIs, and lead logistics huddles to drive accountability for service levels. Coach and mentor Shipping/Receiving Clerks while promoting standardized processes across all facilities. This role requires 3–4 years of logistics experience and proficiency with WMS/TMS. Based in Mesquite, TX, you will work in both office and warehouse environments, supporting the entire network in a fast-paced startup setting.
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of logistics, transportation scheduling, dispatch, or supply chain experience
- Experience scheduling freight and performing track-and-trace
- Experience communicating with customers, vendors, and transportation providers
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and high attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- experience with WMS/TMS
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
