Job Summary
Logistics Lead responsible for developing and executing international logistics strategies to optimise cost, lead time and service levels across global freight and logistics operations. Lead and mentor a logistics team, manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines and 3PLs, own logistics performance reporting with KPIs, manage international logistics budget, ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations, align logistics with inventory planning and sales objectives, provide insights on lead times and capacity planning to support S&OP, and drive system/process improvements in collaboration with Technology and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, 3PL or supply chain operations
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team
- Commercially minded with ability to analyze logistics data
- Strong vendor management experience
- Experience managing key logistics metrics (freight cost per unit, on-time delivery, lead time variability, container utilization, vendor performance)
- Strong problem-solving skills and risk management
- Cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Technology, Operations and external partners
