Job Summary
Lead overall logistics planning and coordination for construction activities across airport and infrastructure development projects. Develop and maintain the Project Logistics Plan, site logistics strategy, and schedules while managing material movement, site access, deliveries, and storage. Coordinate logistics requirements with Construction, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, HSE, Security, and Commercial teams, alongside client, consultants, contractors, and airport stakeholders. Establish delivery schedules, monitor site congestion, and develop mitigation measures for delivery conflicts and constraints. Ensure compliance with airport operational requirements, security procedures, traffic management plans, and project HSE standards. Manage heavy vehicle movements, abnormal loads, and specialized transportation where applicable. Review contractor logistics plans, maintain documentation, and provide regular status updates to project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, infrastructure, airport, or major development projects
- Proven experience managing logistics operations for large-scale and complex construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction logistics planning, transportation, material handling, warehousing, site access, and traffic coordination
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors, suppliers, transporters, and project stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant HSE, security, traffic management, and site logistics requirements
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and the relationship between logistics and project delivery
- Experience with logistics planning and reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
