Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of Logistics Officers by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and driving operational excellence across multiple hubs and international routes. Manage end-to-end logistics operations to ensure timely delivery while developing strategies that optimize transportation modes based on cost, service, and risk. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, customs requirements, and hazardous cargo standards by coordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers, and 3PL providers to resolve operational challenges. Analyze logistics data to identify trends, implement process improvements, and drive the adoption of digital tools, analytics, and AI technologies to enhance visibility and decision-making. Prepare performance reports, KPIs, and improvement initiatives for senior management. This role supports a leading organization in the supply chain sector focused on continuous improvement and digital transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven experience with SAP, logistics planning, and 3PL management
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs processes, and freight operations
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred
- Professional certifications such as CISCP or CSFFP are a plus
- Knowledge of hazardous cargo transportation is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with analytics tools
- Digital mindset with strong awareness of AI tools and emerging technologies
