Job Summary
Conduct ride-alongs with couriers to assess adherence to safety and operational expectations, then complete route reviews, updates, and optimization activities to support service delivery. Support workforce planning by developing schedules, planning coverage, and providing staffing recommendations while coordinating the ordering and inventory of operational supplies. Perform operational audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, review reports for exceptions, and support investigations into non-conforming events and customer concerns by gathering information and preparing documentation. Collaborate with Supervisors, Dispatch, and internal stakeholders to communicate operational observations, implement process improvements, and maintain accurate records. This role requires flexibility for shift changes, weekends, and evenings, with a salary range of $48,516 - $61,858 CAD.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years recent experience in courier operations
- A valid Ontario Class G Driver's license (Ontario)
- full valid Class 5 BC Driver's license (British Columbia)
- full valid Class 5 SK Driver's license (Saskatchewan)
- Clean driving abstract
- Successful completion of the LifeLabs Driver Performance Evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with routing, scheduling, or fleet management systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Ability to travel between operational sites and participate in ride-alongs as required
- Shift patterns and hours are subject to change based on operational requirements (may include weekends and evenings)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset
- Clean driving abstract is considered an asset
- Experience with routing, scheduling, or fleet management systems is considered an asset
