Job Summary
Conduct ground transportation for recovery teams, staff, organs, tissues, blood specimens, and supplies across DNWest's service area. Perform vehicle inspections, loading/unloading, and maintenance checks before every case. Manage donor transport including onsite suitability assessments, gurney operation, and documentation of personal items. Handle referral intake calls and emails to assess donation suitability, capturing data into donor management software. Lead the Logistics team by building monthly schedules, training new staff, and assisting with process improvements and audits. Collaborate with on-call management, recovery staff, hospitals, and funeral homes to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Must have ability to travel within the DNWest's service area by car
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Must maintain current vehicle insurance based on applicable state minimum insurance coverage standards
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision
- Must perform all tasks in a safe manner in compliance with DNWest's safety policies and according to applicable regulations
- Presents a professional image in performing position functions
- Excellent customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Previous fleet/commercial driving experience
