Logistics Lead - Candu Field Services

Job Summary
Logistics Lead responsible for planning, coordination, feasibility analysis, and execution of international transportation activities supporting CANDU Field Services, Spare Parts, and OEM groups. Develops and executes logistics plans for movement of equipment, tooling, and spare parts to CANDU Nuclear Power Plans worldwide in line with Incoterms and regulatory requirements. Interfaces with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other providers to ensure compliant, on-time shipments; conducts logistics feasibility studies, schedule assessments, and risk evaluations for time-critical shipments; supports outage execution and lifecycle service needs; provides logistics reporting, invoice validation, and risk tracking. Hybrid work environment in Canada. Requires post-secondary education with certification in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or Logistics and 8–10 years of senior logistics experience; nuclear or highly regulated environment experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education with certification in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or Logistics
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project logistics, international transportation and shipping, or similar senior logistics roles
- Extensive experience in international project logistics supporting industrial, energy, or highly regulated environments (nuclear or equivalent preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of global transportation regulations, customs processes, and Incoterms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise with project managers, suppliers, service providers, and customer representatives
