Logistics HSS Engineer

Job Summary
Lead HSE&S program implementation across multi-site warehouse operations, conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Support incident investigations ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions, while overseeing contractor safety performance and enforcing site requirements. Drive hazard identification, near-miss reporting, and proactive safety initiatives to strengthen culture and behaviors. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives, then track, analyze, and report HSE&S KPIs and trends. Manage workers' compensation claims and support ISO 14001/45001 audits. Partner with operations to align logistics standards and lead emergency preparedness programs. Bachelor's in Engineering, ISO experience, and BATF&E knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems and audits
- Proven background in risk management, incident investigation, and operational safety
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments
- Proficiency in HSE reporting tools and Microsoft applications
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across multi-site, cross-functional, and remote teams
- Commitment to safety excellence, ethics, and continuous improvement
