Job Summary
Load and unload gear, staff, and guests for 5-day white water river treks using a vehicle and trailer. Assist in cleaning, packing, and inventory of trek equipment while maintaining it in an organized, safe condition. Back the truck trailer in reverse over 200 feet with turns and perform additional duties assigned by leadership. Work 45–55 hours daily, standing, walking, hiking, and lifting up to 70 pounds. Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions while ensuring safety and quality standards remain at the highest levels.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain Summit Driving permit
- Experience driving and backing loaded flatbed trailers
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member
- Ability to stand, walk, hike, and drive and up to 8 hours daily
- Ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
