Job Summary
Logistics Driver I provides ground transportation for DNWest recovery teams, and handles pickup/delivery of organs, tissues, blood specimens, supplies, and paperwork. Communicates with on-call management, recovery staff, organ clinical staff, coroners, funeral homes, hospital staff, and transplant surgeons. Performs vehicle inspections, fueling, and maintenance checklists; loads/unloads supplies; transports donors and clinical materials to appropriate locations; conducts monthly facility cleaning when required; manages safe transportation of donor and tissue materials and documents; and performs related administrative tasks with proper timekeeping. Requires professional customer service, safe work practices, and the ability to operate a DNWest vehicle and gurney equipment. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred; prior fleet/commercial driving experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred or demonstratable comparable work experience.
- Previous fleet/commercial driving experience is highly preferred.
