Job Summary
Track and audit transportation and warehousing expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain. Lead the budgeting process for distribution and supply chain divisions, forecasting freight, tariff, and warehousing expenses. Investigate variances between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing root-cause analysis and corrective recommendations. Build financial models and utilize ERP systems to prepare dashboards and reports that inform executive business planning. Partner with logistics and operations teams to ensure supply chain strategies align with overall financial goals and profitability targets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience tracking and auditing transportation and warehousing expenses
- Experience leading the budgeting process for distribution and supply chain divisions
- Experience forecasting freight, tariff, and warehousing expenses
- Experience investigating variances between budgeted and actual financial performance
- Experience providing root-cause analysis and corrective recommendations
- Experience building financial models
- Experience utilizing ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Experience preparing dashboards and reports that inform executive business planning
- Experience partnering with logistics and operations teams
