Job Summary
Dispatch carriers by phone and computer, managing load information including pick-up and delivery times for all shipments using logistics management software. Track and communicate driver movements to shippers and receivers, properly directing inbound calls to obtain accurate status updates and ensuring on-time delivery. Efficiently update Carrier and Customer Sales Reps of shipment delays, validate load data prior to delivery, and document all communications in TMS logs. Proactively identify load issues and implement solutions while prioritizing tasks in a high call volume setting. This role supports optimal operations performance within an open office environment, requiring strong customer service skills and proficiency in Syfan's transportation management systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
