Job Summary
Monitor designated communication channels during after-hours and weekend shifts to respond promptly to urgent travel and logistics needs. Support Sprinters with time-sensitive issues including flight disruptions, hotel concerns, and transportation changes by coordinating necessary changes to existing arrangements using established guidelines. Troubleshoot problems to minimize operational disruption and unnecessary costs, determining when to resolve issues independently or escalate them to the appropriate team member. Maintain accurate documentation of decisions and costs, providing clear handoffs to the weekday Logistics team for unresolved items. This temporary role covers weekday evenings, weekends, and select holidays to ensure Sprinters have reliable support outside standard business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented when handling time-sensitive issues
- Strong judgment and ability to independently triage requests
- High level of reliability and responsiveness during scheduled coverage
- Comfort working independently with limited real-time supervision
- Ability to follow established policies while using good judgment when unexpected situations arise
- Comfort working across multiple systems and communication channels
- Weekday evenings
- Weekends
- Select holidays, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in travel coordination, logistics, operations, dispatch, field support, customer support, or a similar role
- Experience supporting employees or teams who travel frequently
- Experience handling urgent or after-hours operational issues
- Familiarity with Slack and travel booking platforms
