Job Summary
Logistics Coordinator responsible for directing and dispatching daily driver work schedules to meet customer delivery needs. Acts as primary point of contact for drivers, monitors progress, resolves routing/scheduling issues, confirms delivery appointments, and analyzes data to optimize performance and minimize out-of-gas occurrences. Requires collaboration with Field Management, data integrity in ERP/Roadnet systems, KPI reporting, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. May leverage hybrid work options and participate in continuous professional development, with a focus on operations efficiency, fleet management, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum grade 12 education, preferably with relevant post-secondary education and/or technical certification in operations or logistics
- Minimum three (3) years previous logistics and dispatch experience in a fast paced, hands on environment
- Superior verbal communication skills
- Exceptional ability to plan, organize and forecast
- Strong ability to analyze data including KPIs
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with multi-tasking and changing priorities
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally, and lead through influence
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience with an ERP system and routing/scheduling technology; Roadnet experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of relevant National and Provincial regulations related to propane activities is an asset
- Safety and technical knowledge to respond effectively to emergencies
