Job Summary
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, maintain accurate shipping and inventory documentation, and process shipment transactions in SAP. Receive raw materials and traded goods, support warehouse operations to meet inbound and outbound deadlines, and assist leadership with inventory control activities including cycle counts and verification. Communicate with internal departments, carriers, and vendors regarding shipment schedules and issue resolution while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Perform heavy physical work, operate forklifts after training, and participate in cross-functional plant activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment
- SAP experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution setting
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and experience working with inventory or logistics systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to troubleshoot operational and process-related issues
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime when business needs require
- Ability to perform heavy physical work in a manufacturing environment
- Frequently move throughout the plant and warehouse
- Occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force and frequently exert up to 50 pounds of force
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after training
