Job Summary
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage inventory, and oversee warehousing operations to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Build shipment documentation, liaise with carriers, and monitor transportation timelines while resolving discrepancies. Supervise warehouse associates to maintain safe, clean, and efficient processes, conduct cycle counts, and optimize inventory procedures. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers regarding load counts and product stability. Prepare bills of lading and shipping orders, record shipment data for reporting, and arrange material delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised and maintain multiple processes
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate safety in day to day operations
- Lead a staff including full time and temporary labor in a large warehouse
- Detail Oriented
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
