Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee and track all activities related to incoming materials within the Xanthia receiving warehouse, ensuring accurate validation of receipts against supplier tickets and purchase orders in Viewpoint Construction Software. Coordinate deliveries with Purchasing and suppliers, resolve delivery discrepancies, and maintain a public work order status board while communicating daily with field personnel. Manage backorder tracking, compile statistical reports on work order trends, and ensure full compliance with ISO procedures and safety protocols. Perform additional assignments including loading, unloading, and maintaining storage areas. Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck, and lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. This role supports the Supply Chain team within RK Industries' family-owned construction and manufacturing business units.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
- Ability to work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
- Ability to work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy, and hazardous areas.
- Ability to work in all types of weather.
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
- CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Hazard Identification and Reporting training
- OSHA 10 training
- Knowledge of ISO procedures
- Experience with Viewpoint Construction Software
- Ability to coordinate deliveries with Purchasing and suppliers
- Ability to communicate clearly with Operations personnel
- Ability to maintain a public work order status board
- Ability to compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information
- Ability to develop solutions to streamline processes
- Ability to assist all members of the Supply Chain on various projects
