Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Logistics Coordinator role handling transactional, carrier and internal coordination to optimize supply chain performance. Key duties include communicating with TL carriers for pickups/deliveries, managing border-crossing processes with the Border Crossing team, coordinating expedite shipments, supporting plant-level customer service, escalating service-level issues, distributing reports, and collaborating with Accounts Receivable. Requires problem solving, strong communication, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; 1+ year logistics experience and a bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or business-related field; willingness to travel nationally and internationally; familiarity with TMS, safety and customs regulations; ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
Required Qualifications
- +1 year of industry experience within logistics and/or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation or business-related field
- Automotive logistics experience preferred but not required
- Willing to travel nationally and internationally to customer locations within the ProTrans International network
- Experience using web-based business intelligence tools and Microsoft Office
